The pressure of accomplishment is weighing on me. I’m so worried!

I was on another platform a couple of days ago, and the question was asked. Do enlightened people ever have a down day?

My first thought is, of course, they do.

Why wouldn’t they?

Are they a special kind of differently made people that the rest of us are not privy to? When I am walking down the street can I point out the enlightened person in the crowd?

Not!

Is there an enlightened committee that meets once a month and decides who is enlightened and whos not? Does one have to pass an enlightened test? Or can anyone appoint themselves?

Enlightened people can have all the insight of mystic of believing in the mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge.

Sounds to me like enlightened people tell themselves they are enlightened. They feel a certain way and have the ability to convenience people of their enlightenment and their reasons for feeling enlightened.

This behavior can be exhausting when you have to live it and keep it up all day every day.

These are some of the traits of an enlightened person according to another enlightened person.

  • Always being happy
  • Being optimistic believing that everything can be worked out.
  • Always there to help those in need.
  • Moving gracefully.
  • Having Patience and understanding.
  • Being In previous to temptation. Always standing by their principles.

With all of these examples of an enlightened person coming from an enlightened person.

The question is, Do enlightened people ever have a down day?

In my opinion, Hell yeah! Everyone has a down day that’s life.

If you are human and your breathing chances are at one point in your life you’re going to have a down day.

Jesus had a down day when He sacrificed his life for us on the cross.

He was the most enlightened person on the planet.

I believe God also had a down day when He asked His only Son to sacrifice His life for us.

Down days can be a good thing. Gives one a chance to reflect and start anew.

Fresh ideas start to form. Starting again looking at things from a different perspective comes from a down day. When you are down, there is nowhere to go but up!

I believe we are all enlightened about something. Each one enlightens one.

The next time I am having a down day, I will remember some of these quotes I came across just as a little reminder.

  • A bad day only lasts 24 hours.
  • “When you have a bad day, a really bad day, try and treat the world better than it treated you.” -Patrick Stump.
  • “Never let a bad day bring out the worst in you.”
  • “Breathe. It’s just a bad day, not a bad life.”

Whenever you’re going through a bad day just remember, your track record for getting through bad days, so far, is 100%. That’s pretty darn good.
