Grapes! Good Health And Spiritual Benefits.
“When thou comest into thy neighbor’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes to thy fill at thy pleasure, but thou shall not put any in thy vessel.” Deuteronomy 23:24
The reason why I eat grapes all the time is they are easy to access. Grapes and apples are good for a quick snack when I get hungry. No preparation, no turning on the stove, or oven, no cooking. I don’t even have to push buttons on the microwave and watch the timer count down.
“All I have to do is open up the refrigerator and reach. Life is good!” I find grapes and apples to be a very quick snack when I get a little hungry.
I remember when I was growing up we had a huge grapevine tree in our backyard. It’s funny how you remember things when you start to write, things you had never thought of before, things you have forgotten about.
We would go in the backyard and pick grapes, then mommy would make grape jam, jelly, or preserves. I can still see the jars and jars of grape jams and jellies up in the kitchen cabinets.
It’s amazing how healthy grapes are. They are full of so many healthy ingredients you wouldn’t believe. “Who knew a little round berry could be so healthy for you?”
