The glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, heralding his victory over sin and death pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united with him by faith. Romans 6:5

The Bible has its reasons which are so valid for celebrating Good Friday. While the events we remember of this day are dark, the result is good. Thus, we call it Good Friday, the day of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus. Without Jesus being raised from the dead and having victory over sin you, and I would be screwed. “Being that we just celebrated Easter a few weeks ago. It proves we are all good.”

We can all agree that when Friday comes around, it signals the end of the work week and the beginning of the weekend. The weekend allows us to relax, have fun, and forget about our responsibilities like the daily grind of working. Life is full of commitments and sacrifices. When Friday comes around we get to put all that to the side for a little fun and relaxation for a couple of days.
