You never know how much that smile was needed.

Mad at folks because they don’t look like you, act like you, think like you, live where you live, don’t believe in what you believe in?

Pissed off at people because they disagree with your way of doing things? “You feel it’s your right to bring them harm?” Has it ever occurred to you people have their own opinions that are not always going to agree with yours, or should they be canceled?

What the hell does that mean canceled culture? Really!!

Hating on people because of the color of their skin, or their sexual identity. You don’t like what they wear, how they think, what's being taught in schools.

You want to attack, destroy, hurt.

In the words of the late great Marvin Gaye, What’s going on?

Give me a break let go of the hate!

Are there people out there who are hurting so bad within in themselves, their only recourse is to lash out at others? Just dump on them because their pain is so bad?

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25.

Research tells us that altruism is hardwired in our brains. It suggests that it might be the secret to living a longer healthier, wealthier, productive life.

Being kind lifts people up, it’s a gift that we all have in common but we all don’t use.

Telling a loved one how much they are appreciated is an act of kindness that will stay with them and help them feel good about themselves.

Being kind to yourself is good for your health and growth within.

Generosity is a form of kindness like saying something nice.

One never knows the impact they have on someone when kindness is extended.

You don’t have to do something extraordinary to show kindness.

Kindness can be shared in little things such as:

  1. Grace, when we show kindness to someone even though they don’t deserve it.
  2. Maturity, making a decision to be kind no matter what the circumstances
  3. Forgiveness, to forgive
  4. Patience, wait for a long time to deal with a situation without getting upset.
  5. Compassion, to practice acts of kindness

Sharing encouraging words is the best way to show kindness to others.

“I would rather make mistakes in kindness and compassion, than work miracles in unkindness and hardness”.

Mother Teresa
