Peace Of Mind!
The mind is like water. When it's turbulent, it’s difficult to see. When it’s calm, everything becomes clear.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, and live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
There was a time in my life a long time ago when I was a worry wart. Before I learned how to cast my care, I worried about everything. I worried about paying rent, light, and cable bills. I worried about keeping gas in my car to get to work. I worried about car insurance and enough food. You name it, I worried about it. I worried about things that might happen even though they never did.
I used to wake up in the middle of the night, and my mind would race, worrying about something: Would I ever meet someone, or would I be alone for the rest of my life? I even worried about worrying. What made it so bad was that I worried alone. At that time, I wasn’t communicating with my family, and I never shared my worries with my friends.
So I drove myself crazy for years being a worrywart almost to the brink of suicide. If I checked out of life, I would be free from worrying. I worried about not being able to complete the job. I tried twice!
