But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. Matthew 19:26

Let me see if I got this straight. I was told by a pastor not too long ago, that there is a certain segment of people on this planet who think they can use God on demand. He said when we want God to bless us with our health and material needs we are all into the church singing and praising God. When it comes to our money and mental state we want to put God in a box and sit him in a corner somewhere saying. Stay put until I need you I got this. I will see you on Sunday.

Our trust is only assured when we know things are going to work out

By doing this we find ourselves not trusting God. It’s funny how we are not afraid to sit in a chair that we never sat down in assuming it will hold us when we sit down in it. We don’t think twice about it. When it comes to the creator of man/woman and the world. We don’t trust God.

“We need to say yes to God with everything about our lives and no to our understanding”. Our thinking is what puts limits on God. For your thoughts are neither my thoughts nor your ways, my ways saith the Lord. Isaiah: 55–8

God is sovereignty. He is all-knowing. All creation is done by Him. He controls everything and everyone. God is so awesome. How awesome is He?

Glad you asked!

God is so awesome even the devil has to have permission to be the devil. You heard me! The devil has to have permission from God to do what he does.

God is so sovereign!

In the book of Job. The devil had to get permission from God to go after Job and test his faith. God allowed the devil to do that but, God put a limit on him. He told the devil don’t you kill him. Job 1:11

We should always put God first. He wants us to depend on Him for everything. From a legal situation to helping us to look good when we dress in the morning.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6. If we focus on trusting God, and not doubt His promises. We would alleviate a lot of the messes we find ourselves in. As well as the things that happen to us that are not our fault.
