“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins”. Mark11:25

If you are breathing, there is a strong possibility that you have been betrayed by someone at one time or another in your life. Someone violated you in the worst way. It might have been from your spouse or a very close friend. Someone you trusted.

If you feel that you haven’t ever been betrayed by anyone Keep living.

Being betrayed by someone is like being punched in the stomach over and over again. It hurts and it hurts like hell.

This type of pain doesn’t go away instantly. For some, your first thought might be to want to do some physical harm to him/her. “Then you will be just like them”. Not good!

So how do you handle this devasting situation? Do you cry, go into depression mode. What do you do?

You do everything you can to keep your sanity. You must stay strong for yourself.

This to shall pass

This is not on you, this was done to you. Blaming yourself is the last thing you need to do. Letting your feelings flow would be a good first step in overcoming the pain. Sometimes we have to ride the pain of betrayal out so we can move forward.
