The Act Of Going The Extra Mile.
If you’re not willing to do more than what you’re paid for, you will never get paid for what you are doing!

There were times throughout my job life, I would ask a co-worker to help me do something that wasn’t in our job discription and they would tell me how they are not getting paid to do extra work.
The thing about that statement is, it’s true they were not getting paid to do certain things that are not required of him/her. With that said, my thought process is, where is your compassion, your empathy to want to go the extra mile?
I volunteered twice in my life for the same company. The first time I volunteered for about a month, maybe two. I was an administrative assistant, it was great having all that responsibility. After about 2 years I had to leave due to family illness.
Fast Foward to 2024, I was asked to come back again on a volunteer basis. Because I had close ties to this family…
