There Was A Time!
To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes= 3:1
There was a time when you had a dime you can make a phone call. There was a time before video games we were playing dodgeball and running bases, tagged, double dutch, and softball.
Our parents would say back in the day go outside and play. We would be exercising without even knowing we were exercising from playing all day.
There was a time when the street lights came on, and you were not home. Your butt was in trouble. Today if you’re not going to make it to the house you send a text.
There was a time when dinner was served we all ate at the table as a family. Now our brains are being fried due to the microwave as we eat on the run.
There was a time when teenage girls were into bobby socks, boys, and curls.
They are still into boys, instead of bobby socks and curls, it’s body-conscious, anxiety, and disordered eating from social media.
Social media causes teenagers and some adults from having one on one interactions.
Now with Instagram and Tik Tok. No one is hanging out at the park. They are taking selfies and posing in their skin hoping to be the next Internet sensation.
